Job Description

• Responsible for in country Finance function, manage financial policies and internal controls, annual budget process, control Costs, Capex, debtors, cash flow, Fixed asset register and archiving. Ensures that all internal and external reporting requirements are met. Responsible for ensuring that local company secretarial requirements are met.
• As a custodian of the finance function, ensure the function is performed according to Group standards and are compliant with group and statutory requirements.
• The job holder will act as a business partner to the General Manager, supporting on the development and expansion of the business in the country and the integration of the businesses acquired

• Management of in-country finance function including financial accounting, controlling, management reporting,budget planning, Tax, credit control, and financing. Ensuring compliance with financial accounting, company and Statutory Requirements, accounting standards and policies

• Ensuring Group Accounts and performance reporting deadlines and requirements are met. Providing financial and non-financial reporting and review to the business, highlight variance on financial performance. working with GM / MD on addressing performance gap

• Managing treasury function including financing, management of Foreign Exchange, cash management, investment and the borrowing funds and relationships with the banks.

• Management of Credit & Collections function, manage credit risk, monitoring and improving performance in the area of credit & collection.

• Maintenance of the Internal Control Environment and liaison with internal & external auditors. Ensuring financial infrastructure and systems are maintained.
• Understand and monitor key financial and control risks and ensure mitigations are in place.
• Tax administration & optimization.
• Co-ordinate legal issues and the association with the assistance of Legal Counsel.
• To conduct checks and reviews of accounting/financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Assist and prepare the Management Report with Financial and Non-Financial Report. (Including BoD Meeting require report, Management Meeting Report, Budget Report (Actual and Budget Comparison and etc...)
• To prepare OPEX , CAPEX, Financial Model , Business Plan Report
• Manage and fulfill to finish Tax Clearance and External and Internal Audit requirement
• Support the GM / MD in the developments in the Country, including M&A activity, Greenfield start-up, new business/ anchor customers tenders, advise financial impact, project manage the processes and lead the financial integration of all new customers / businesses.
