Job Responsibilities
- Forecasting quantity and quality demanded for products to meet the business needs.
- Participate as an advisory member of the sales team, providing information and guidance on inventory of stores
- Estimate and establish budgets for purchases & reports
- Keeping a constant check on inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventory records and maintaining accurate purchase items & quantity in details
- Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
- Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes
- Claim quality issue with the suppliers
- Identify jewelry design market trends by conducting market research.
- Stay informed on advancements in jewelry design and trends.
- Before placing an order, innovate new products, collaborate on designs with suppliers, and make design modifications.
- Facilitating communication among manufacturers, suppliers, and pertinent internal departments.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation, and request to top management to identify new suppliers
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring the progress, checking the quality of service provided from the suppliers.
- Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future.
- Processing payments and invoices.
- Making area sales analysis report.
- Directly Report to BOD
- Training and supervising the team members.
Job Requirements
- Any graduate and Business-related Degree is preferable.
- 5+ Years’ experience on related field is preferable.
- Interest in Jewelry Design.
- Must have knowledge on Importing policies and procedure/current related law of Myanmar.
- Must be computer literate, able to work with email and should have well in English 4 skills.
- Must have brilliant skills in MS office (Excel, Word, Power point, etc.)
- Understanding in supply chain process.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal departments.
- Good organization and planning skills.
