Job Description

·       Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to execution, including overseeing the planning, budgeting, and staffing of audits.

·       Develop audit plans and risk assessments to ensure comprehensive audits that meet legal and regulatory standards.

·       Review and evaluate the financial statements, internal controls, and to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or non-compliance.

·       Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff, providing feedback and development opportunities

·       Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, or senior management.

·       Conduct internal control assessments, identifying weaknesses and suggesting improvements.

·       Review and approve working papers and audit reports prepared by the audit team.

·       Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting, auditing, and regulatory standards.

·       Assist with the development and improvement of audit methodologies and best practices.

·       Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.

·       Assist in managing the audit department’s budget and ensure timely delivery of audit services.

·       Contribute to the development of internal and external audit-related training programs.
