Job Description
· Minimum 15-20 years of progressive procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, commercial management, contract management, vendor management or project procurement experience
· At least 8-10 years in senior procurement leadership role, preferably as Chief Procurement Officer, Group Head of Procurement, Head of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Director or equivalent Proven experience establishing procurement governance, procurement operating models, category management, supplier governance, procurement controls and commercial negotiation frameworks at enterprise or group level
· Strong experience supporting major capex, project procurement, operations procurement, construction, facilities, IT, technical sourcing and business transformation Proven ability to advise Board/EXCOM, Procurement Committee, C-Suite leaders, Cluster CEOs/MDs and BU Heads in a complex business environment
· Diversified conglomerates or group of companies Energy, power, utilities, infrastructure, oil & gas, construction or project-based businesses Real estate, property development, manufacturing, healthcare, mining or education sectors Experience in Myanmar or comparable emerging-market environments preferred Experience managing local, regional and international supplier ecosystems would be an advantage
Job Requirements
· Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, MBA or postgraduate qualification strongly preferred
· Supply Chain Management Procurement / Purchasing Business Administration / Management Engineering / Construction Management Finance, Economics, Logistics, Commercial Management or related field
· CIPS / MCIPS / FCIPS or equivalent professional procurement certification strongly preferred Contract management, commercial negotiation, project procurement, supply chain, logistics, compliance, ERP or project management certification would be an advantage
· English (fluent professional level required)
· Myanmar (native or business proficiency strongly preferred)
· Other regional languages are an advantage
Technical Skills/System
· ERP / procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo or equivalent E-procurement, purchase requisition, purchase order and supplier database tools Contract lifecycle management and document control systems Spend analysis dashboards, Power BI or equivalent analytics tools Supplier risk, vendor master data and procurement workflow tools MS Excel-based tender evaluation, cost modelling and total cost of ownership tools

· Strong understanding of procurement controls, supplier governance, contract risk, conflict-of-interest management and fraud prevention

· Ability to balance business urgency with governance, risk management, supply assurance and value-for-money discipline
· Strong documentation discipline, committee reporting capability and attention to detail
· Ability to operate under pressure, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in complex, resource constrained environments
· Practical, hands-on leadership approach with the ability to build systems, processes and teams from the ground up
· Willingness to travel across group companies, projects and operating sites as required
