Job Description
- Developing procurement strategies cost-effective
- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors for payment terms.
- Reviewing existing suppliers and vendors to get stocks on time
- Monitoring purchase orders and organizing and delivery process
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and saving on procurement costs.
- Negotiating with suppliers for payment postponed.
- Overseeing and managing the manual report of oversea and local , inventory process and transferring process .
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
- Problem solving for internal (Staff and each dept. complaint )and external (Supplier )
- Discussing with R&D for substitute new items and cost saving items
- Review and mange the quality of purchased products.
- Overseeing all of purchasing department report.
Job Requirements
- Any Graduated (Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.)
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industry or bakery sector. Experience in managing procurement activities for a factory setting is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, negotiation strategies, and supply chain management. Familiarity with bakery ingredients sourcing and supplier relationships is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
