Job Description

Construction Supervision & Contractor Control

· Problem solver with a proactive attitude

· Supervise and monitor all civil construction works including buildings, foundations, flooring, drainage, roads, and utilities.

· Ensure contractors strictly follow:

· Approved drawings

· Technical specifications

· BOQ and contract conditions

· Control contractor workmanship, materials, methods, and site discipline.

· Identify deviations, non-conformance, and poor workmanship; issue corrective instructions.

 

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) :

· Act as QA/QC authority for the Company at site level.

· Review and approve

· Method statements

· Material submittals

· Shop drawings

· Conduct regular inspections for Structural works

· Concrete quality

· Finishing works

· Waterproofing, flooring, and hygiene-sensitive areas (critical for dialysis fluid production).

· Ensure construction meets GMP-relevant hygiene and cleanliness requirements where applicable.

 

Site Reporting & Documentation :

· Prepare and submit:

· Daily / Weekly / Monthly site progress reports

· Quality and inspection reports

· Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

· Maintain site records including:

· Test results

· Inspection checklists

· Photographic evidence

· Provide clear, factual, and unbiased reports to management and BOD.

 

Technical Advice to BOD & Management :

· Advise BOD on:

· Construction progress

· Quality risks

· Contractor performance

· Potential cost or schedule impacts

· Highlight technical risks early and recommend mitigation actions.

· Support management decision-making with ground-based technical assessments, not contractor opinions.

 

Coordination & Compliance :

· Coordinate with:

· Architects

· M&E engineers

· Process equipment suppliers (as needed)

· Ensure compliance with:

· Myanmar construction regulations

· Local authority approvals

· Safety and environmental standards

· Support inspections by authorities or third-party auditors.

 

Authority & Limits :

· Has authority to:

· Stop substandard works

· Reject non-compliant materials

· Request corrective action from contractors

· Approve contractor payments (unless assigned

· Change design or scope without management approval
