Job Responsibilities

Ø  Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational

objectives, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.

Ø  Lead the procurement process from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management and vendor performance evaluation.

Ø  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements, providing strategic guidance and support to optimize purchasing decisions.

Ø  Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms, minimize costs, and mitigate risks.

Ø  Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Ø  Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

Ø  Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

Ø  Proven experience (2-4 years) in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management roles, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.

Ø  Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management principles.

Ø  Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize procurement operations.

Ø  Advanced negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings.

Ø  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ø  Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ø  Leadership qualities, including problem-solving abilities, decision-making skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Ø  Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export processes is desirable.
