Job Description
l Lead end-to-end software development projects, from understanding requirements to deployment
l Collaborate with Project Manager for continuous improvement and project alignment
l Provide technical direction and mentorship to developers
l Ensure high software quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices
l Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient applications
l Work closely with cross-functional team members for successful project delivery
l Identify project risks and proactively resolve technical issues
l Oversee code and documentation reviews for quality assurance
l Prepare and maintain clear, comprehensive development documentation
l Contribute to strategic planning and lead technical decision-making
Job Requirements
l Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
l 5+ years of experience in software development with 2–3 years in a leadership role
l Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Shell)
l Strong understanding of SDLC and experience in Agile or Waterfall environments
l Proven experience in system design, architecture, and software lifecycle management
l Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
l Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities
l Experience with version control tools like Git
l Ability to guide and inspire junior engineer
l Japanese language skills are a plus, but not required
