Job Description
· Develop and implement financial strategy to align with mission, vision and values ensuring resources drive sustainable growth.
· Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to maintain accuracy and provide actionable insights for executive decision-making.
· Manage corporate finance, liquidity, and capital structure to support business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and optimise financial performance.
· Ensure compliance with taxation and financial regulations to maintain governance and organizational credibility.
· Analyse financial performance, trends, and key metrics to guide strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
· Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and the board to optimize business outcomes.
· Evaluate business opportunities and investments with leadership to maximise returns and growth potential.
· Manage finance teams across subsidiary companies to ensure consistent processes, high performance, and accurate reporting, enabling operational alignment and standardized financial practices.
· Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
· Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
· Assess and manage financial risks, developing mitigation strategies to protect the company’s assets and financial health.
· Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions to maintain confidence and secure capital and serve as the primary point of contact.
· Recruit, lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to build a high-performing team aligned with organizational objectives.
· Optimize operational efficiency and control costs to enhance profitability and resource utilization.
· Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and analytics to strengthen decision- making and performance monitoring.
· Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethics to reinforce stakeholder trust and organizational reputation.
Job Requirements
· Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management; and/or professional certifications (ACCA or CPA)
· Minimum 10 or more years of progressive experience in finance with at least 5 years in senior financial management experience, preferably in healthcare
· Experience with various financial software and ERP systems
· Proven expertise in financial strategy, financial analysis, and reporting
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication abilities
· Proficient in financial modeling, business analytics, and performance measurement
· High level of integrity and professional ethics
