Job Description

·       Execute, monitor, and optimize daily on-site construction management activities and MEP engineering workflows.

·       Coordinate with internal project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders, managing critical communication and reporting lines with HPBC regarding utility approvals.  

·       Track construction progress, quality control metrics, mechanical/electrical/plumbing specifications, and daily site logs.  

·       Assist in reviewing architectural, structural, and MEP construction drawings, performing technical data analysis, and preparing progress reports and engineering proposals.  

·       Ensure strict compliance with local construction procedures, safety regulations, building codes, and project quality control frameworks.  

·       Maintain meticulous records of all MEP system inspections, material test results, pressure testing, and official compliance logs.  

·       Support the submission of necessary engineering work reports and system certification documentation to HPBC and senior management in a timely manner.  

·       Oversee combined services coordination (CSD) to resolve physical space conflicts between HVAC ducting, plumbing lines, fire sprinklers, and electrical containment before installation.

Job Requirements

·       Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.  

·       Have on-site construction management experience, specifically handling integrated MEP packages.  

·       Experience in high-rise building MEP systems, including central HVAC plants, high density drainage, and structural construction management integration is highly preferred.  

·       Familiar with construction procedures, quality control, combined layout drawings, and technical specifications.  

·       Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with HPBC and utility authorities to submit necessary work reports in a timely manner.  

·       Good problem-solving ability, teamwork, able to work on-site and under pressure.

 

Ideal Profile

·       Experience in communication and management with HPBC regarding complex high-rise building services is a strong priority.  

·       Advanced proficiency in reading complex structural and MEP drawings, implementing cross-disciplinary clash detection, and utilizing BIM (Building Information Modeling) for coordination.

·       Proven track record of handling fast-paced high-rise developments under tight structural tolerances and challenging site conditions.
