Job Description

• Work closely with Head of Sales and the Team to prospect customers and support the lead generation process through an opportunity pipeline management approach of customer acquisition (e.g. Sales Pipeline, Contracts, Orders, and Payment) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management), which drive customer satisfaction, and company profitability.

• Manage sales portfolio to deliver fuel volume, margin, cost. Ensure delivery of agreed customer performance targets and ensure both customer and Shoon Energy commitments are delivered in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

• Provide quotations to new and existing customers as required plus manage and negotiate new and existing contracts to ensure contractual compliance

• Foster, develops and maintains relationships with local market stakeholders and key decision makers (government bodies, industry associations) to develop value enhancing business opportunities and actively manage Shoon Energy services levels to maintain industry leadership.

• Identify competitors and monitor and map competitors’ activities and pricing within the market. Provide formal reports and

• monitor activity monthly and quarterly.

• Travel and visit to customers and project areas to a frequency and schedule as agreed with the Head of Sales. It is important for all candidates to acknowledge and accept that work travel and customers visits are an integral requirement for this role. This will sometimes require travel overnight outside Yangon from time to time.

• Manages assigned area and account responsibilities from total support perspective. Submit regular reports to Head of Sales and conducts regular meeting with team member and other departments

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas sector

• Minimum 3 years’ management and sales experience, preferable in the oil and gas sector

• Related degree preferably

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Customer focused and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

• Able and willing to travel throughout Myanmar as and when required

• High level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications

• Ability to work autonomously with a high level of organizational and time management skills

• Detail oriented, resourceful and flexible

• Ability to meet deadlines, complete projects and manage multiple tasks within a continuously changing business environment

• Self-motivated, confident and capable of engaging at all levels of a customer’s business

• Strong written and oral negotiation, presentation and communication skills both in Burmese and English

• Problem solving, analytical skills, strong engineering knowledge, refinery economics

• Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of working efficiently under pressure
