Job Description

·       Review and approve power system designs for on-grid and off­ grid installations, including single line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment specifications.

·       Design and review off-grid solar systems including PV arrays, charge controllers, inverters, batteries, grounding and protection systems.

·       Manage technical aspects of on-grid power applications, approvals and utility coordination.

·       Ensure safe execution of power works in ROW environment.

·       Plan and monitor power installation activities in line with project WBS and milestones.

·       Ensure installations follow approved method statements, SOPs, and safety procedures.

·       Enforce HSE requirements for electrical wor·ks and  solar installations. Review RFls, method statements, and inspection & test plans(ITP).

·       Prepare and review technical documentation including designs, calculations, test reports, and as-built drawings.

·       Coordinate with utilities, authorities, consultants, and internal teams.

·       Support vendor selection, technical evaluation, and performance monitoring.

·       Proficient in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, or similar tools is an advantage.

·       Track and report progress to PMO and escalate site-related issues when needed.

·       Electrical Engineer Professional License (where applicable) -Solar-related certifications (e.g., PV system design/installation)
