Job Description

· Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation.

· Prepare basic and detailed design specifications, including Use Case Diagrams, ERD, DFD, detailed process flows, and related documents.

· Review developer outputs, including design specifications, source code, test specifications, and test results, ensuring quality, consistency, and proper error-handling practices.

· Prepare test specifications, including unit tests, integration tests, performance tests, and other relevant testing documents

· Support Senior Software Engineers (SSE) in aligning project deliverables with quality standards, ensuring consistency with business requirements, and identifying potential technical risks.

Job Requirements

· 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software application development.

· Strong logical thinking, analytical, and review skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and risks in technical deliverables.

· Experience in reviewing technical deliverables and identifying defects or inconsistencies.

· Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as:

· PHP (e.g., CakePHP or Laravel frameworks)

· COBOL, Assembly, VBA, or other legacy programming languages

· Ability to handle end-to-end development tasks, including coding, debugging, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system enhancement.

· Ability to create clear and well-structured technical documentation.

· Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall SDLC methodologies.

· Strong team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

· Self-driven, responsible, professional, team-oriented, communicative, and proactive.\

· Japanese language proficiency (minimum JLPT N4 level) is preferred.
