Job Description

❖ Develop and implement import strategies to meet the company's procurement

needs and support manufacturing operations

❖ Coordinate and manage all import activities, including sourcing suppliers,

negotiating contracts, arranging shipments, and overseeing customs

clearance processes

❖ Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and customs requirements

to avoid delays and penalties

❖ Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to

identify cost-saving opportunities and improve import processes

❖ Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs

brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import operations

❖ Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and

finance, to ensure timely and cost-effective import of raw materials and

components

❖ Develop and maintain import documentation, records, and reports to track

import activities and expenses

❖ Optimize import logistics, including transportation modes, routes, and lead

times, to support efficient manufacturing operations

❖ Stay informed about changes in import regulations, trade agreements, and

market conditions that may impact import operations

❖ Provide guidance and support to the import team, ensuring they have the

necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively
