Job Description

·       Lead the financial operations of the livestock and pet food business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

·       Monitor financial performance by analyzing actual results versus forecasts and budgets.

·       Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

·       Oversee cash flow, working capital, and inventory financing.

·       Perform variance analysis on product costs, margins, and profitability by segment (livestock feed, pet food, etc.).

·       Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific financial regulations, including tax laws and agricultural policies.

·       Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring full regulatory compliance.

·       Oversee tax planning, reporting, and submissions specific to the agriculture sector.

·       Planning and coordinating with the internal/external (third party) for the financing process.

·       Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices in alignment with finance.

·       Ensure accurate valuation of livestock, feedstock, and pet food inventory.

·       Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for decision-making regarding pricing, product lines, and market expansion.

·       Support mergers, acquisitions, and new market development by providing financial due diligence and forecasting.

·       Track market trends in agriculture, raw material prices (such as grains and feedstock), and customer demands.
