Job Description

• Develop the local HSE plan as part of the annual planning/budge�ng process, and establish HSE priori�es

to support company’s overall business plan as well as all local Legisla�ve compliance.

• Liaise with HSE team on all such maters, to ensure alignment of HSE discipline in local business.

• Coordinate and implement all business HSE ac�vi�es. Set priori�es and accountabili�es for the delivery

of the HSE plan across the business.

• Provide advice on all aspects of HSE to Line Managers and Department Heads. This will include ensuring

that maters are dealt with appropriate and applicable legisla�on and standards are adhered to.

• Work with Opera�ons team to develop and implement appropriate incident response and repor�ng

procedures, and ensure �meliness of delivery.

• Lead incident inves�ga�ons with key focus on root cause analysis and process / procedural improvements

to reduce / eliminate future incidents.

• Conduct specified regular site opera�onal audits to iden�fy poten�al risk areas and check compliance

with agreed opera�ng manuals. Monitor and drive terminal inspec�on team for the comple�on of overall

audits. Coordinate improvement plans with line management to close gaps in �mely manner.

• Conduct training programs to foster a culture of connuous awareness and safety performance

improvement.

• Provide monthly HSE reporting to Operations and HSE, which covers key HSE metrics such as environmental incidents, and reportable incidents.

• Coordinate with appropriate external pares, all HSE program related maters.

• Support Procurement process for purchasing HSE related equipment.

• Properly document all HSE reports and records.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment or Engineering or similar related field

• Safety Officer certification

• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislations

• Demonstrated experience in Dangerous Goods and storage and handling of dangerous goods

• Minimum of 5 years HSE experience, including up to 3 years at a supervisory level

• Petroleum Terminal industry experience is advantageous

• Sound knowledge of ISO Standards (ISO45000 and ISO14000)

• Strong computer skills, especially MS Office

• Proven ability to lead/manage a small team

• Well-developed presentation skills

• Proven ability to promote safety awareness and foster a safety culture

• Good communication skills
