Job Description
IT Asset Management (ITAM) ;
· Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all company IT assets (laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, and software licenses).
· Track the lifecycle of IT equipment from procurement and deployment to retirement and disposal.
· Conduct regular audits of IT hardware and software to ensure compliance and prevent loss.
User Support & IT Service Management (ITSM) ;
· Receive, log, and manage user requests through the internal Helpdesk/Ticketing system.
· Troubleshoot and resolve basic to intermediate hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
· Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary
OS & Application Installation ;
· Set up and configure new workstations for onboarding employees.
· Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Operating Systems (e.g., Windows 10/11) and essential software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Antivirus)
· Ensure all company devices comply with internal security policies before deployment.
Documentation & Reporting ;
· Create and maintain clear technical documentation, Work Instruction, and user guides.
· Keep detailed records of IT asset assignments & movement records, IT service records, other IT related records.
· Prepare basic weekly or monthly IT service reports for the IT Manager.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer
Engineering, or a related field.
· 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or System Administration. (Highly motivated fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply).
Technical Skills:
· Solid understanding of computer systems, and other tech products.
· Hands-on experience with installing and troubleshooting MS Windows & Office.
· Familiarity with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software.
· Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN) and IT security best practices.
· Experience with IT Asset Management tools or tracking spreadsheets is a plus.
Soft Skills:
· Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users politely
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively
· Customer-service oriented with a helpful and patient attitude.
