Job Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain logistics compliance programs in line with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and communicate relevant information to the logistics team.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance-related activities and documentation.

• Prepare periodic reports on compliance performance, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement.

• Assist in the development of standardized procedures and documentation templates for compliance purposes.

• Conduct training sessions to educate logistics staff on compliance requirements and best practices.

• Develop training materials and resources to enhance employee understanding of compliance policies and procedures.

• Provide guidance and support to logistics team members in addressing compliance-related issues.

• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within logistics operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate controls and preventive measures.

• Investigate compliance violations or incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Procurement, Legal, and Quality Assurance, to ensure alignment on compliance initiatives.

• Maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.

• Serve as a point of contact for inquiries or audits related to logistics compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in logistics compliance or a similar role.

• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing logistics operations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate and address compliance issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams.

• Proficient in using software and tools related to compliance management.

• Professional certifications in logistics, compliance, or related fields will be a plus.
