Job Description

Production Coordination & Team Leadership

·       Lead, coordinate, and supervise the production team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

·       Arrange and allocate machines, materials, and manpower based on the approved production plan.

·       Organize production workflows to ensure efficient process flow and minimize bottlenecks.

·       Provide clear instructions and guidance to supervisors, operators, and workers to achieve production targets.


Resource Utilization & Waste Reduction

·       Ensure effective and efficient use of raw materials, equipment, and manpower by all team members.

·       Monitor material consumption and production losses to reduce waste and rework.

·       Implement corrective actions to improve productivity while maintaining product quality standards.

·       Promote good housekeeping and standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the production floor.

 
Production Schedule & Delivery Management

·       Ensure all production tasks are completed on time in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.

·       Monitor production progress and take immediate action to address delays or deviations from plan.

·       Coordinate with planning, warehouse, and dispatch teams to support on-time delivery of finished products.

 
Cost Control & Quality Standards

·       Ensure production operations are cost effective by monitoring labor, material, utility, and operational costs.

·       Prepare and estimate production costs and support budgeting activities.

·       Establish, implement, and maintain production quality standards in line with company requirements.

·       Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, food safety, and regulatory standards (where applicable).

 
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

·       Identify operational issues in the production process and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime and losses.

·       Analyze root causes of production problems and implement preventive measures.

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

 
Performance Management & Human Resource Allocation

·       Be responsible for performance appraisal, evaluation, and ongoing management of production staff.

·       Ensure fair and effective allocation of human resources based on skills, workload, and production requirements.

·       Support training and development of production employees to improve skills and performance.

·       Enforce discipline, safety rules, and company policies within the production department.

Job Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Agriculture, or related field.

·       Minimum 5–8 years of production experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

·       Strong knowledge of production planning, process control, and cost management.
